One of the most entertaining events in the Clinton County Fair Family Night lineup is the Shoe in the Haystack race. Above and below, the two age groups are shown searching for shoes that had been hidden in the large pile of hay, before putting the shoes back on and sprinting to the finish line.

A blindfolded and barefoot Anthony Dalton grimaced as he walked through a bed of mousetraps last week during the Clinton County Fair Fear Factor competition.

Derek Stockton and Evan Dearborn went for the “hold your nose” routine as they chugged a smoothie texture drink at the Clinton County Fair last week during the Fear Factor Foodie competition. Although all of the ingredients weren’t divulged by event organizers, Tabasco sauce and ground hot sausages were noted as being included.
