Parker Means had ahold of the controls of this backhoe Monday afternoon when he and his father, Pinkie Means, began demolition work on the house formerly owned by the Clinton County Board of Education. The house was originally the home of W.L. Sawyer, but for the past several years has been used by the board of education for office space.

The building is being demolished now that the board of education headquarters has been moved to the Snow Community in a joint facility with the Clinton County Area Technology Center in what was originally known as the Clinton Center College.
