The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 office advises motorists KY 100 in Cumberland County will be reduced to one lane as crews perform rock removal.
The lane closure begins at the Cumberland/Monroe County line (mile point 0) and extends to mile point 1 (Mud Camp Creek). Work will be performed Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Drivers should expect long delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
The lane closure is expected to last four weeks. Duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
