Marie Rush, 70, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

She was born Clinton County, Kentucky to the late Don Hubert Savage and Anna Lee Beaty Savage.

She was a longtime employee of Sutton Shirt Corporation, Kentucky Apparel, and Electric Mills KY. She was a follower of Shepherd’s Chapel.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Rush.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Earl (Angie) Rush of Burkesville, and a daughter, Angela Akin of Woodburn, Kentucky; six brothers; Bob Savage, Earl Dee Savage, and Donnie Savage all of Albany, Ronnie Savage of Burkesville, Gary Savage and James Savage, both of Stanford, Kentucky; six sisters, Lucille Savage and Connie Blevins both of Albany, Inalene Dishman of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Margaret Hite of Richmond, Kentucky, Wanda Savage of Moss, Tennessee, and Sherry Dishman of Monticello, Kentucky.

Three grandchildren, two great grandchilden and a host of other relatives also survive.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, August 13, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Bro. Raymond Castillo officiating. Burial was in Rush Family Cemetery.
