First year head Lady Bulldogs’ coach Ansley Stalcup Nelson hosted her first Lady Bulldogs camp last Saturday.

Nelson said there was a great turnout.

“We had a really good turn out. There are kids that are still talking about it and teaching their parents to box out and ‘put your hand in the cookie jar’ on shots. I couldn’t be more pleased for our first camp,” Nelson said. “Not only did our Lady Bulldogs teach the campers basketball skills, they also taught them about integrity, servant leadership, respect, responsibility, and sportsmanship. It’s more than just a game. I see lots of talent in our future Lady Bulldogs.”
