James “Lloyd” Gibson

James “Lloyd” Gibson, 82, of Lynn, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born February 18, 1937 in Albany, Kentucky to the late James Edgar and Bonnie Elbert Bertram Gibson.

Lloyd retired from Kabert Fiberglass in Lynn following more than 40 years of service. He had previously worked at Chrysler Corp. and Spartan Casket as well.

Survivors include his children, Tony Gibson of Lynn, Rick (Laurie) Gibson of Lynn, Pam (Larry) George of Avon, and Amanda (Shane) Bragg of Lynn; brother, Bob Gibson of Greenfield; brother in law, Harlan Hoover of New Castle; and several grandchildren, great-granchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife in 2016, Eva Lucille Gibson; sisters, Florede Gibson, Molene Wiggins, Louise Guffey and Donreta Hoover; brothers, Woodrow Gibson and Esco Gibson.

Services were Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, Indiana with Pastor Jeff Jaco officiating.

Burial was in the South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition.
