On Tuesday, June 25, dispatch received a robbery complaint from BB&T Bank located at 2198 Lakeway Drive in Russell Springs. The Jamestown Police Department, Russell County Sheriff’s Department, and Kentucky State Police responded to assist.

It was determined that a white male wearing a white shirt, white ball cap, with a white mustache and a thin white beard, entered the BB&T Bank and demanded cash in large bills and fled.

At approximately 5 p.m. Saturday, September 28, William Grabel, 51, of Lafollette, Tennessee was transported from a Pennsylvania jail and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center by RCSD units.

Grabel was served with a Russell County warrant for robbery-second degree. This investigation is headed by Det. Chasity Shirley.
