Cathy Jo Smith, 49, Concord Rd., Albany, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Cookeville (Tenn.) Regional Hospital. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and daughter of the late Curtis and Phyllis Parrigin.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Smith; a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jamie Thurman; two sons, Gary Lane and Adam Lee Smith, all of Albany; three sisters, Susan Shelton and Tammy Cook, both of Albany; Cheryl Claborn, Kennasaw, GA; a brother, Harold Parrigin, Crossville, TN; five grandchildren, Ashleigh, Katie, Jamison, Payton and Jacob and father and mother-in-law, Homer and Ann Smith.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Pastors Kim and Rodney Koger officiating. Final resting place in Concord Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
