Alfreda D. Vaughn, 60, of Cookeville, Tennessee, formerly of Albany, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Luther Dicken and Vina Henderson, and was also preceded in death by a son, Justin Ray Guffey, and three siblings, Pauline Delk, Randall Bill Dicken, and James Lee Dicken.

She is survived by a daughter, Ginger (Larry) Johnson, of Pall Mall, Tennessee; two sisters, Barbara Rudicill of Indiana, and Arlene Ploetner, of Louisville Kentucky; two brothers, Donald Ray Dicken of Monticello, Kentucky, and Charlie DeRoy Dicken of Albany; three grandchildren, Tyra, Ellie, and Jace Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Friday, September 27, 2019 at Talbott Funeral home with Bro. Harvey Dicken officiating. Burial was in the Lands Chapel Cemetery.

Talbott Funeral Home of Albany was in charge of arrangements.
