The Kentucky State Police is now accepting applications for the agency’s third Law Enforcement Accelerated Program (LEAP) which is scheduled to begin on April 15, 2012. This 11-week program is designed for current law enforcement officers who would like to become Kentucky State Troopers. Applicants must have three years of Kentucky Police Officer Professional Standards (POPS) law enforcement experience by March 1, 2012.
All application materials must be completed and returned to the nearest Kentucky State Police post by October 31, 2011. Application materials must include a recommendation from a Kentucky State Trooper and a KSP Post Commander.
