Guinn Braswell

Dora Leana Guinn Braswell, 92, of the Duvall Valley Community, Albany, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William and Ann Mathis Guinn and wife of the late Clarence Bliss Braswell. She was also preceded in death by three sons, J.E., Bobby and Bill Braswell.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Dot Marcum, Norene (Evert) Smith, Jewell Jones (Gail Nevels); a son, Lannie (Sue) Braswell; 11 grandchildren, Ricky (Amy) Marcum, Bronston, KY; Jerry Braswell, St. Petersburg, FL; Gary Braswell, Freddy (Lisa) Smith, Patricia (Mark) Russell, Mike (Heather) Jones, Donna (Mike) Huckelby, Richard (Sandy) Braswell, Connie (Bobby) Condreay, Kathy (Randy) Logan and Chris Braswell; 13 great-grandchildren, Ricky Jr., Amanda, Savannah, Miranda, Taylor, Marcus, Crystal, Haley, Colton, Macy, Collin, Joseph and Shera; also two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Bolling and Bro. Shane Smith officiating. Final resting place in Oak Grove Cemetery.
