Several members of the Duvall family enjoyed Saturday’s Foothills Lip Sync contest from the comfort of the Clinton County Community Foundation’s special Lip Sync Experience area near the performance stage.
Hannah Smith and Kendall Hay earned a second place win in the Lip Sync open division with the John Mellencamp hit “Small Town.”
Mary Stearns and Melinda Smith earned second place in the 19 and over division of the Lip Sync contest with a Cledus T. Judd song, “I Hate Alan Jackson.”
Foothills Festival planning committee member Jennifer Warinner, saw most of the Lip Sync contest through her iPhone as she filmed the event for use by the Foothills Committee in the future.
Niki Gibson and Lelan Gibson picked up a third place award in the Lip Sync Open category with their rendition of Harper Valley P.T.A.
Winners of the various 2019 Foothills Pageants served as stage assistants during the Saturday Lip Sync Contest, and at the conclusion of the event, they introduced themselves to the crowd.
