The first Clinton County High School Band Director, Leta Kaye Shelton, stepped back up to the director’s podium Friday afternoon to direct a joint C.C.H.S. Band and the Clinton County Alumni Band in the C.C.H.S. School Song, the Washington and Lee Swing. Shelton, now 80, was presented with a 60 Year Anniversary CCHS Band shirt, and a plaque, and spoke to the crowd gathered for several minutes before directing the band once again.

The Clinton County High School Band, under the direction of Logan Butler, entertained a large gathering of fans near the Albany First Baptist Church Friday afternoon.

Chris Allen, a weather forcaster personality from Bowling Green’s WBKO Channel 13, served as the Grand Marshall for this year’s Foothills Festival Parade.

Al and Patti Cross enjoyed Friday night’s Georgia Thunderbolt and Kentucky Headhunters concerts from the Clkinton County Community Foundation sponsored All For Benny Headhunters Experience. The special seating placement was auctioned off during the recent All For Benny Gala held by the Foundation.
