John and Mary Washburn “ran away from home” after the 127 Yard Sale and took a copy of the event in the Clinton County News first to Cumberland Gap, then to a family reunion in West Virginia, then to the Chesapeake Bay Area for crabs. (The restaurant was closed by the time they got there, but John says he was glad.) It seems prices have risen since he’s been there. One dozen crabs cost $45.00! To have a meal would have cost over $200, so they turned around and came home.
