Tarter Farm & Ranch Equipment recently welcomed students from Clinton and Cumberland County Area Technology Center to their facilities. Students toured Tarter Tube, Tarter Industries, and Tarter Gate, giving them the opportunity to see the different types of manufacturing used, including manual labor and the latest in automation. The tour allowed students to watch milling operations, the speed of production welders, the process of manufacturing 3-point and cattle handling, and the process for the finish that is added to Tarter product.

The tour was concluded at Tarter’s ETC, where students enjoyed lunch and spent time with recruiters from Tarter. They were giving tips on how to properly complete a job application and what is expected during a job interview. Tarter works with local high schools to provide information on jobs that are available for students immediately after graduation. Written by: Lori Carmicle – Tarter Farm & Ranch Equipment.
