A two-vehicle accident resulted in charges for a Pall Mall woman. The accident occurred on Tuesday, October 22 at around 6:06 p.m. on Highway 127 around the Chanute Church.

A 2004 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Jacqueline J. Cross, 54, of Pall Mall, was traveling south when she crossed the center line and struck the front left portion of another vehicle. Cross’ vehicle spun counter clockwise and went into a roll before coming to a rest in the ditch.

The vehicle that was struck was a 2012 Toyota Sienna, driven by Jerry Courtney, 76, of Monroe. One of the passengers was transported by Pickett County EMS to Livingston Regional Hospital after sustaining minor injuries. The THP report indicated the driver, Jerry Courtney, went to the hospital after the accident. All involved were wearing seat belts.

Cross was charged with DUI and vehicular assault.

Trooper Tyler McCulley investigated the accident.
