Christie Devona Groce, 33, Groce Rd., Albany and a native of Gainesboro, Tennessee, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Ashlock Scott.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Groce; her father, Roger Scott; two daughters, Kirsten and Katie Groce; and a brother, Kevin Scott, all of Albany.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Rev. J.P. Byrd and Rev. Donnie Shelley officiating. Final resting place in Ashlock Cemetery in Cumberland County. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
