, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at his residence.

He was born in Cumberland County, the son of Bedford “Dude” and Nancy Holman Davidson. He was of Jehovah’s Witness faith, an elder and member of the Shively congregation of Jehovah’s Witness, and an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Davidson, Howard Davidson, and Arnold Davidson, and sisters, Roxie Simpson, Bethene Carter, Marie Brake, Mary Lee, and Sue Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Davis Davidson of Louisville, Kentucky; a daughter, Kathie Wideman of Louisville; siblings, Bobby (Beatrice) Davidson of Burkesville, Kentucky, Betty (Marshall) Ferree of New Castle, Indiana, and several other relatives.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, November 23, 2019, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Elder Louis Rayzor officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
