The Early Childhood Center had a full house last Tuesday – literally – when for the first time that anyone can remember, a single grade had everyone in attendance – 100 percent attendance. The six kindergarten classes, all 124 students were in school last Tuesday, and to mark the occasion, they all gathered, along with their teachers and aides, in the ECC cafeteria for a group photo.
Amanda Cross of the ECC office staff, told the Clinton County News that it was the first time that she could remember it ever happening.
“When I checked the attendance that morning, I was like ‘WOW’, everyone’s here,” she said. “Of course we do have Santa here today, so maybe that had something to do with it.”
