, 65, of Albany, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at his residence.

He was the son of the late Sam and Ora Shelton Rains, and also preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Willie Rains, and two sisters, Rosie Piercey and Louise Perdue.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Rains; two sons David Rains and Jason (Anna) Rains; three grandchildren, Breanna, Sydney, and Riverlyn Rains, all of Albany; four brothers: Johnny, Eddie, and Floyd Rains, all of Albany and Frankie Rains, of Clarkrange, Tennessee; five sisters, Marie Stinson, Jean Johnson, Rebecca Rains, and Angela Cole, all of Albany, and Ethel Gilbert, of Burkesville, Kentucky.

Services were held Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Talbott Funeral home with Bro. Kenny Neal officiating. Burial was in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
