VFW Post 1096 Post Commander Jason Warinner and Quarter Master Travis Denney presented Autumn Langley, above, with a certificate as the Clinton County Voice of Democracy Essay Winner. Below, Jacob Warinner was presented with a certificate for winning the Patriot’s Pen award. Both will move on to the district level of the competition. Both essay competitions are held annually and will be advertised next year as soon as the competition becomes available. The VFW wishes both contestants good luck in district competition.
