, 90, of Hagerstown, Indiana,passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020, at The Waters of New Castle, where she had recently resided.

She was born in Albany, Kentucky, the daughter of Ernest and Lena (Perdue)Kemplen. She had resided in the Hagerstown area for the past 17 years.

She attended Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her three children, Marjorie (David) Shepherd, Edward Allen (Christine) Hall and Catherine Long; five step-children, Linda Parmley, Lesia Cornette, Tim Wilson, James Wilson and Brenda Tallent; six grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Walter Kemplen, Jimmie Kemplen, Edwin Kemplen, Jessie Kemplen and Wendell Kemplen; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Kendall Beard.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Hall; her second husband, Fred Wilson; two stepsons, Freddy Wilson and Eddie Wilson; three brothers, Johnny Kemplen, Eugene Kemplen and Robert Kemplen.

Services were held Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Craig Dusek and Rev. Robert Fannin officiating.. Burial was in Buena Vista Cemetery.

Culberson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
