Missoula Children’s Theatre Wiz of the West performance is Friday

This Friday, October 28th at 7:00 PM at the Clinton County Learning Center, follow your friends from the Land of Oz through the wild, wild west of yesteryear – but with a twist… or should we say a twister? Join the Missoula Children’s Theatre and over 50 local students as they perform in the original musical production of THE WIZ OF THE WEST.

The local cast features Bailey Gibson as Dotty, Regan Page as Mooch, Austin Cash as Scared Crow, Ryan Thomas as Tinhorn, Allan Marcum as Lionel and Baylee Baker as Hawknose Halley, mean and nasty the worst of the lot. Also featured are Hailey Cole as Dr. Ozzy, the wonderful wizard of pioneer potions and tall-tale tonics. Our four friends tangle with Top Dog Seth Daniels’ bunch of bad barkin’, back bitin’ bow-wows including Mad Dog Mary Cross and Bad Dog Chase Gibson. To complete the ensemble, Michaela Cole, Chelsea Carpenter, Nandry Guffey, Chandra Tallent, Shelby Brown, and Katie Williams will appear as the Coyotes, Ethan Daniels, Adrianna Thrasher, Deon Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Alissa Cook, Christina Speck, Rachel Sawyers, and Madison Claborn as the Munch Kin, Brianna Pickett, Corey Latham, Barry Thrasher, JayAnne Murphy, Kendra Cross, Taylor Cross, Autumn McCutchen, Kendra Bertram, Malachi Cooksey, Hailey Harber, Rheagan Leveridge, and Gavin Melton as Buzzards and Sabrina York, Sami Criswell, Moriah Moons, Sadie Moons, Kana Wade, Evan Little, Loren Little, Lexy Freeman, Montana Doughty, Clay Moreland, Clint Moreland, Ashton Daniels, Ella Marlow, Maggie Cross, Jonna Upchurch, and McKenna Moons as Tarantulas. Ben Gunter, McKenzie Mathews, Hannah Avery, and Kelsie Hickman have served as Assistant Directors throughout the week. THE WIZ OF THE WEST will be presented at 7:00 PM at the Clinton County Learning Center. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children ages 3 – 12 years. Tickets will be available at the door on the night of the show.
