The Clinton County Middle School Academic Team competed in the District Governor’s Cup on Saturday, January 18 at Cumberland County. The team placed first in Quick Recall.

Team members are pictured above are left to right: James Craig, Jed Groce, Gavin York, Tyler Guffey, Valarie Latham, Kassie Shelton, Allison Latham, Addison Coop, Addison Weston, Emily Sawyers.

The following students placed in written assessment: Tyler Guffey – first place science and second place social studies; Allison Latham – first place language arts; Jed Groce – third place social studies and fifth place mathematics. The entire team will advance to Regional Governor’s Cup at Science Hill Independent School on February 1. The team is coached by Mrs. Rebecca Crabtree.
