Vallie Dawn Lewis Dyer, 87, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the Cumberland County Hospital

She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky, the daughter of Crit Webb and Susie Margaree Fudge Lewis.

She was a member of Grider United Methodist Church, a class of 1951 graduate of the Marrowbone High School, homemaker, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star chapter #380, Cumberland County Homemakers Club, and the Women’s Society of Christian Service (W.S.C.S.).

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hall Dyer

She is survived by her sons, Barry Lewis (Katharin) Dyer, Nashville. Tennessee, Brian Webb (Vickie) Dyer, Burkesville, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Hardin officiating, Eulogy by Julia Dyer Sweitzer. Burial was in the Grider Memorial Cemetery.
