Burkesville resident Anthony Butler (center) received a Maintenance Support Service Award from Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rodney Brewer (right) and Justice and Public Safety Cabinet Secretary J. Michael Brown (left) on Oct. 10. A three-year KSP employee, Butler is a 1988 graduate of Cumberland County High School. He is assigned to KSP’s Trooper Island Camp on Dale Hollow Lake, in Clinton County.
