, 89, Akron, Ohio, formerly of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center in Akron, Ohio

He was the son of the late Thomas Calvin and Mollie Buck Koger.

He was a member of the Beech Bottom Baptist Church, and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked 39 years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bliss, Letha, Nancy, Harlan, Clara, Mildred, T.C., and Jay Reed.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Dodrill Koger of Akron, Ohio; sons, James Kevin (Debbie) Koger of Akron, Ohio, Douglas Keith (Hollie) Koger of Nancy, Kentucky; grandchild, Hunter Rainwater, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service, with military honors, was conducted Tuesday, February 4, 2020, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Cleo Goodlett officiating. Burial followed in the Beech Bottom Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
