Don’t forget to set clocks ‘back’
one hour before hitting the sack Saturday night
The leaves are once again falling, colder weather is in the air, the nights are getting longer and the days are getting shorter. These are just a few signs that the fall season is here in south central Kentucky.
Another sign of the season is the time change that occurs each November, making those longer nights even longer and the days even shorter through the late fall and winter seasons.
As the adage goes, remember to “Fall Back in Time” as Central Standard Time officially returns to many parts of the country, including Clinton County, this coming Sunday, November 6.
The slow time, as it is often referred to, officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday morning. Readers are reminded to set their clocks and watches back one hour before retiring Saturday night or first thing Sunday morning to gain that extra hours sleep.
CDST (Central Daylight Savings Time) will return next March 11.
