, 84, of Spiceland, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 .
She was born in Clinton County, a daughter of the late Herbert G. and Abbie (Sells) Hoots.
She retired from Tri Jr.-Sr. High School, following over 20 years of service in the food service department and attended the Greensboro Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her son, Donnie (Paulette) Wallace of Spiceland; two daughters, Debbie (Dan) Jones of Clarkston, Michigan, and Dana (Jim) Pennington of White Lake, Michigan; a sister, Wanda Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews, and a host of close friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Wallace; a son, Terry Wallace; sisters, Vera Wallace, Vida Jennings, Opal Martin, and Doris Jean Hoots; brothers, Wayman, Alvis, Clifford, J.R., and Harold Hoots.
Services were held Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, with Rev. Mark Herbkersman officiating. Burial was in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland.
