John Preston Harlan, 77, Byrdstown, Tennessee and a native of Albany, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by a daughter, Larae Lander (Bradd), Kingman, AZ; two sisters, Josie Lowhorn (James M.) and Margaret J. Bickel (Rudy), both of Albany; special friend, June Daley; also five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bobby Sexton officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery in Clinton County. Arrangements made through Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown, Tennessee.
