Separate raids land seven in jail on drug related charges

On Wednesday, March 11 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Sheriff Jeff Vincent and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 207 West Water Street in Albany.

During the search, methamphetamine and multiple baggies and straws, marijuana, glass pipes, grinders and a large amount of drug paraphernalia was confiscated. Two arrests were made.

Linda Kathleen Crabtree was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription controlled substance not in original container 1st degree.

Barbara Faye Neal was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance first degree (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, prescription controlled substance not in original container 1st degree, and possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, drug unspecified.

Crabtree and Neal were lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

This case was investigated by Deputy Jose Lagos of the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.

On Thursday, March 12, a joint search warrant by Sheriff Vincent, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department and Kentucky State Police was conducted at 506 Elm Street in Albany.

During the search, a large amount of crystal methamphetamine and multiple baggies, marijuana, and scales were confiscated. Five arrests were made.

Brandi Beaty, Sherry Sue Barnes, Lloyd Earl Smith, Eric Ray Storie, and Amy Angel were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), and possession of marijuana.

Beaty, Barnes, Smith, Storie and Angel were lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
