Seven members of the boys’ cross country team will compete this weekend at the State Meet in Lexington’s Kentucky Horse Park. Clinton County finished third this past weekend in region 2 Class A competition in order to qualify for the state competition.

The State Meet will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 9 a.m.

Last week’s regionals was held at Green County with Joe Davis placing sixth overall with a time of 18:28, John Davis placed eighth overall with a time of 19:08 and Sage Evans finished 14th with a time of 19:51.

Frank England finished 22nd with a time of 20:23 while brother Glen finished 23rd with a time of 20:39. Jacob Cross and Jadeon Page rounded out times for Clinton County coming in 27rd and 30th with times of 21:12 and 21:33 respectively.

Bianca Soma was the only member of the girls’ cross cournty team to participate in the regional meet. She finished with a time of 30:02
