Virginia Lee Huddleston, 73, Ky. Hwy. 639 S., Albany, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of the late James Earl (Shot) Huddleston, daughter of the late John B. and Audrey Crabtree Smith, and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Tena Wray and Shelia Ann Huddleston; two brothers, Donald C. and John B. Smith, Jr.; and two sisters, Reba Samaras and June Melton.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Kenny) Abston and Cindy Huddleston, both of Albany; two sons, Jeff Huddleston, Albany; James Huddleston, Greensboro, NC; a brother, James Robert Smith, Albany; two sisters, Janet Lowhorn, Monticello, KY; Wonnie McFarland, IN; six grandchildren, Cassandra, Anthony and Brandy Huddleston, Brian and Jason Wray and Jimmy Irwin and three great-grandchildren, Leah and Nikki Ashby and Kaden Wray.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Rev. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
