Ricky Wayne York, 57, a native of Burkesville, Kentucky and a resident of Mt. Dora, Florida, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020.

He was the son of the late Herbert Holland York and Sally Jewell (Owens) York, of Burkesville, Kentucky.

He served in the National Guard and was Honorably Discharged after achieving the rank of Sergeant in 1992.

He is survived by his partner of 28 years and husband of four years, Daniel Hubert Jarrad; his mother, Jewell York; his sister, Barbara York (Ronald) Smith; his brother, Ronnie Dale (Karen) York. Several other relatives also survive.

Services will be held at a future date to be determined in Burkesville, Kentucky. Donations can be made in his name to your local Muscular Dystrophy Association.
