, 69, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2020 at his residence in Clinton County, Kentucky.

He was born in Clinton County, Kentucky, the son of the late Edgar and Louisa Shelton Cooper. He was of the Christian faith, attended Jesus Name Church, and was a pipeline construction employee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Billy Cooper, Steve Cooper, Betty Cooper, Jaunita Howe, Alice Marcum, Linda Stearns, Justine Allegree.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Faye Hicks Cooper of Albany, Kentucky; children, Tina (Delno Denny) Cooper of Jabez, Kentucky, Marie Brown, Ray (Sandy) Cooper, Jeff (Sherry) Cooper, all of Albany, Kentucky; siblings, Eva Chaplin of Monticello, Kentucky, Mackie (Ina) Cooper of Lexington, Kentucky, Benny (Melissa) Cooper of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; grandchildren, Brandon Marcum of Somerset, Kentucky Trevor (Natasha) Marcum, Kaitlyn Brown, Wyatt Brown, Amaira Neal, Kayden Cooper, Matthew Cooper, Haley (Jayden) Thair, Chloe Cooper, all of Albany, Kentucky, three great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was conducted on Wednesday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral home with Bro Marty Clark officiating.
