, 69, of Albany, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Metcalfe Health Care Center, Edmonton, Kentucky.

He was the son of the late Fred and Pearl Shelton, and was also preceded in death by four brothers, Everette, Wesley, Glen, and Alvin Shelton.

He was a member of Gospel Independent Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Mechelle (Marty) Beaty, of Pall Mall, Tennessee, Melissa (Gary) Bloyd, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one son, Michael Shelton, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; three brothers, Freddie Shelton, Monticello Kentucky, Welby and Daryl Shelton, both of Albany. Eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and five step-great grandchildren also survive.

Services were held Tuesday, June 9, at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating.

Burial was in the Shelton Cemetery.

Talbott Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky, was in charge of arrangements.
