, 66, of White House, Tennessee, formerly of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, at his residence in Sumner County, Tennessee.

He was the son of the late Roy Stanley and Willie Belle Beaty Thompson. He was a Hydro plant operator for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Nashville District for 44 years.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Hardin Thompson of White House, Tennessee; children, Brent (Shelley) Thompson of Columbia, Kentucky, Eric (Melissa) Thompson of Smithville, Tennessee, Katherine Thompson of White House, Tennessee; siblings, Michael Thompson of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Stanley Thompson of Albany, Kentucky, RoyAnn Randall of Albany, Kentucky, Sue Cooksey of Monticello, Kentucky, Dorothy Polston of Albany, Kentucky.

Several grandchildren, along with a host of other family also survive.

The funeral service was conducted Tuesday, June 16, 2020, in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Branham Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.

Campbell-New Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
