James Ira Davis, 71, Albany, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Arnel B. and Estelle Davis and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Keith and Arva Davis.

He is survived by three sons, Bill, James and Keith Davis, all of Albany; one brother, Lowell Davis, Louisville, KY; four sisters, Wanda Vincent and Sandy Davis, both of Albany; Doris Ann Wrapp, Nicholasville, KY; Janice Watts, Louisville, KY; also 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Don Davis and Bro. Johnny Davis officiating. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
