Despite the current COVID-19 pandemic, the communities all along the US 127 World’s Longest Yard Sale route, including Albany and Clinton County, are gearing up for this weekend’s event. Sometimes referred to as the World’s biggest exchange of junk, the U.S. 127 Yard Sale now stretches along a route that includes six states and a nearly 700 mile long route.

Clinton County has long been a major vendor spot for the 127 Yard Sale route, with one of the largest concentrations of vendor tents being near the intersection of U.S. 127 and Ky. 90, where this vendor was found setting up early Tuesday morning, getting ready for the weekend arrival of buyers.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has reminded both buyers and sellers that they should practice social distancing, wear masks or face coverings and gloves, and refrain from touching items unless they are going to purchase them.
