A Livingston man was injured in a motorcycle crash on Bolestown Road around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, July 18.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol’s preliminary information, Lathan Allen Jones, 51, of Livingston, was riding a 2019 Yamaha R3 south on Bolestown Road “at a high rate of speed” when the motorcycle left the roadway on the right and rolled over. The speed limit in the area is 45 mph.

Jones is charged with reckless driving, unlicensed, uninsured, helmet law, and speeding.

The incident was investigated by Trooper William Looper.

A Rickman man faces charges after a single-vehicle crash on Rickman Road around 4:10 p.m. Saturday, July 25.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol’s preliminary incident information, Jeremy Neal, 27, was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer north on Rickman Road when the vehicle left the roadway on the left side and struck a utility pole and overturned, coming to a final rest in the southbound lane.

Neal, who was not wearing a seat belt, was injured in the crash.

He is charged with failure to use due care, driving on revoked license, (no) seat belt, and financial responsibility.

The incident was investigated by Trooper Charles Glen Slaven.
