The Clinton County High School golf teams are nearing the end of the 2020 season and competed in the District Tournament Monday afternoon.

Regional play will be next week, followed by the KHSAA state tournament.

The Golf Dawgs earned runner-up honors Monday in the four-team tournament, behind Russell County.

Clinton County’s Braxton Massengale, shown above chipping on the first green at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park Golf Course, earned Medalist honors Monday with a one-under par 35. Senior Golf Dawg Ryan Irwin is shown at left.

Kaylee Latham, a senior on the Lady Golf Dawgs squad, missed Monday’s tournament due to an injury.
