Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron has reported the following arrests activity during the past week:

Christian R. Denny, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for assault-4th degree (domestic violence).

Denny was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

Joshua L. Shouse, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for fleeing or evading Police-2nd degree (motor vehicle), operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and for a traffic violation.

Ashley Sexton, of Whitley City, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 10 drugs unspecified). Sexton’s arrest is part of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office sealed indictments from the undercover investigations into the sale of illegal narcotics.

Stephen Spradlin, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (less than two grams of methamphetamine) and for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Spradlin’s arrest is part of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office sealed indictments from the undercover investigations into the illegal sales of narcotics.

Shouse and Sexton were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Spradlin was released from custody after posting a bond.

Belinda S. Leach, of Somerset, Ky., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aaron Shearer, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Clinton County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for criminal trespassing-1st degree.

Leach and Shearer were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

Travis Parmley, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving under the influence, suspended license and for traffic violations.

Jason K. Fulton, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for burglary-2nd degree.

Phillip V. Inman, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for assault-4th degree (domestic violence.

Parmley and Fulton were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Inman was released from custody after posting a bond.

James L. Hunter, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, fleeing or evading police-2nd degree (motor vehicle) and for a traffic violation.

Derek Barnhouse, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for Probation Violation (Defendant left Rehab) on the underlying charge of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine).

Brian L. Anderson, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a Contempt Hearing.

Hunter, Barnhouse and Anderson were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

Scott A. Penticuff, of New Castle, In., was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving on a suspended license, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and for no other state registration receipt.

Penticuff was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Penticuff was also arrested on a Clinton County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to pay fines on the underlying charge of driving on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

Clarence Dodd, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to pay or appear for a Show Cause Hearing.

Penticuff and Dodd were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
