Clinton County Middle School celebrated Justin Slone with a day in his honor last week.

Slone was recently named a local hero after he quickly went into action after his dad, Scott Slone, suffered a heart attack while on a trip in the Nashville area.

Justin performed CPR on his dad until an EMT crew arrived. The emergency officials and the medical crew at the Nashville hospital where Scott was treated, agreed that Justin’s quick actions saved his dad’s life.

Justin’s heroic actions were featured in a Clinton County News front page article published on October 8, 2020.

On Friday, the 8th grade class at Clinton County Middle School all came out to cheer their hero. He was presented gifts from his fellow classmates and a plaque from the school in honor of his quick thinking and heroic actions. CCMS could not be prouder of Justin!

In addition to the 8th grade class, the 8th grade teachers, administration, and his family were present to celebrate this wonderful young man.

We are BULLDOG PROUD of Justin Slone!
