, 77, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky.

He was born in the Peytonsburg Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky, the son of Arthur “Dutch” and Noxie Glee Watson Key. He was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ, a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Cumberland County School Board for 20 years, and a business owner and logger, owning Key Brothers Logging.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Janice Nell “Jan” Watson Key, siblings, Fayne Groce, Anthony Key, and Phillip Key.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Paul) Stalcup of Burkesville, Kentucky, his siblings; Tommy (Sherry) Key, Marian (Roger) Murphy, Stevie (Mildred) Key, all of Burkesville, Kentucky, Phyllis (David) Huff and Johnny Key of Peytonsburg, Kentucky, Lucinda (Mayford) Boles of Celina, Tennessee,;several grandchildren and other relatives.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, October 17, 2020, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Thompson, and Bro. Tommy Watson officiating. Burial was in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky ,with military honors by the Monticello D. A. V. Chapter #105.
