The leaves are on the ground, weather is getting cooler and days are already shorter, but this Sunday will mark the time most people do not like to see–days getting even shorter.

A reminder that Central Daylight Saving Time (CDST) will end and Central Standard Time (CST) will officially return at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, November 1.

With the change, people will gain an hour of sleep Sunday morning, but for almost five months, will see an hour less of daylight and longer dark hours.

Readers are reminded to “fall back in time” and set their clocks and watches “back” one hour before bedtime Saturday night or first thing Sunday morning.

Daylight Saving Time will return the last Sunday in March 2021.
