Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron has reported the following arrests activity during the past week:

Jacob T. Ingram, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, no operator’s license and for traffic violations.

Ingram was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

Brandon T. Bartcher, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (drug unspecified), possession of a controlled substance-2nd degree (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and for a traffic violation.

Destine Duncan ,of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for public intoxication-controlled substance (excludes alcohol), disorderly conduct-1st degree, resisting arrest, terroristic threatening-3rd degree, assault-2nd degree (Police Officer or Probation Officer) and for 2 counts of assault-3rd degree (Police or Probation Officer).

Jeffery A. Fulton, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for strangulation-1st degree, assault-2nd degree-domestic violence, fleeing or evading Police-2nd degree (on foot), alcohol intoxication in a public place, unlawful imprisonment-1st degree, terroristic threatening-3rd degree, persistent felony offender-1st degree and for cruelty to animals-2nd degree.

Jordan M. Shokooh, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for theft by unlawful taking or disposition-shoplifting and for persistent felony offender-2nd degree.

Leah Carrender, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Commitment Order of Arrest.

Amanda L. Thompson, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the underlying charges of driving on a driving under the influence suspended operator’s license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and for a traffic violation.

Bratcher, Duncan, Fulton, Shokooh and Carrender were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Thompson was released from custody after posting a bond.

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron, deputies with the Sheriff’s Office have charged and arrested a Wayne County man for drug trafficking.

At approximately 12:15 am on October 22, 2020 deputies Derek Dennis, Brad Tucker and Brent Rose went to a residence on Hickory Hill Drive in Monticello to serve an active Indictment Warrant on a resident at that location for a previous drug trafficking charge that was issued by the Wayne County Grand Jury.

Upon arrival, the Deputies observed the male subject through a window. When the deputies identified themselves, the subject appeared to be hiding something before answering the door.

After making the arrest for the Indictment Warrant the deputies conducted a search of his immediate area. The deputies then located approximately 12.4 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, two sets of digital scales and other items related to drug use.

Deputy Derek Dennis charged and arrested Roscoe N. Shelton for trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Deputies also served the Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest on Shelton for the charge of trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (less than 2 grams of methamphetamine).

Shelton was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

Jeffrey A. Button, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Button was also arrested on two Wayne County Circuit Court Warrants of Arrest for failure to pay support as ordered and failure to appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the underlying charges of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine).

Shawn D. Boston, of Monticello, Ky,. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for criminal trespassing-3rd degree, burglary-2nd degree, fraud use of a credit card, theft of services and for persistent felony offender.

Timothy Scarborough, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for criminal trespassing-3rd degree, burglary-2nd degree, twp counts of fraud use of a credit card and for theft of services.

Brandon Denton, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Josh D. Denney, of Monticello, Ky,. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for Probation Violation on the underlying charges of trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (less than 10 drugs unspecified) and for trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

Kirstin Pence, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the underlying charges of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Hammon, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for arraignment on the underlying charge of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine).

Rodney Gregory, of Monticello, Ky,. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for Arraignment on the underlying charges of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for traffic violations.

Michael D. Piercy, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

Bobby S. Foster, of Monticello, Ky,. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine).

Paula B. Edwards, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Zachary T. Dean, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for arraignment on the underlying charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Button, Boston, Scarborough, Denton, Denney, Pence, Hammond and Gregory were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Piercy, Foster, Edwards and Dean were released from custody after posting a bond.

Brandon Dople, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for disorderly conduct-2nd degree.

Brandon L. Burchett, of Monticello, Ky,. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the underlying charges of trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine) and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Burchett was also arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for arraignment on the underlying charges of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance-2nd degree (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dople and Burchett were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

Doug R. Atkinson Sr., of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-2nd degree, possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Randall A. S. Dishman, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for possession of marijuana.

Daniel King, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested for assault-4th degree (domestic violence).

Jeremy R. Lewis, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (opiates). Lewis was also arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the underlying charge of assault-4th degree.

Elisha Turpin, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Jefferson County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to comply on the underlying charge of probation violation (for felony offense).

Atkinson, Dishman, King, Lewis and Turpin were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron a investigation into a stolen camper trailer has led to an arrest of a Wayne County man.

On October 9, 2020 Sheriff Catron and deputies Jerry Coffey and Derek Dennis recovered a stolen camper in the Spann Hill – Elk Ridge area which was stolen from Conley Bottom Resort. The camper was stolen sometime between July 19, 2020 and August 12, 2020. During a search of the stolen camper narcotics, handguns, firearms, drug trafficking items and identifying information of the suspect were found inside. Deputy Derek Dennis obtained a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant on Logan J. Criswell for a total of five felony and two misdemeanor charges related to the stolen camper.

On October 26, 2020 at approximately 12:01 am a tip that was received by deputies Dennis and Brad Tucker gave a possible location of Criswell in Clinton County.

The deputies notified Clinton County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jose Lagos of the location. Deputy Lagos located Criswell inside a gas station known as the Junction. Both deputies Dennis and Tucker proceeded to the Clinton County location. While making the arrest all three deputies plus K-P Unit Dunya conducted a search of two vehicles related to Criswell. During the search deputies recovered a small of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia items.

Logan J. Criswell, of Somerset, Ky., was charged in Clinton County for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) possession of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Criswell was arrested on the Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for receiving stolen property ($10,00.00 or more), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in marijuana (enhancement), trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (less than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine-enhancement) and for trafficking in a controlled substance-2nd degree (less than 20 drug unspecified – scheduled 3).

Criswell was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

The investigation is continuing by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office with more arrests expected.

Jessica F. Daniels of Monticello, Ky. was arrested on a Pulaski County District Court Warrant of Arrest for theft by unlawful taking or disposition-shoplifting.

Kenneth S. Upchurch, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and for operator a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Jessica Wise, of Monticello, Ky., was issued a Wayne County Circuit Court Criminal Summons for criminal trespassing-3rd degree, 2 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, theft of services and for promoting contraband-1st degree.

Daniels was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Upchurch was released from custody after posting a bond. Wise was giving a Court date to appear.
