The Clinton County Bulldogs traveled to Metcalfe County Friday night for its third game of the season and second district game of the year.
The Dawgs had a off night in Edmonton as Clinton County fell 63-0, and fall to 1-2 on the year.
Head Coach Rocky Tallent said he was very disappointed in his team’s performance Friday night.
“We have to get back to work and get better,” Tallent said.
Chase Stines went four of 21 yards passing with an interception.
Bentley Boils was three for 11 with an interception on passing and picked up 18 yards rushing. Landon Brown had two carries for two yards, Stines had six carries for six yards, Malachi Upchurch had three carries for four yards, and Blake Melton had three carries for one yard.
Steele Burchett had two catches for 11 yards, while Bryson Cross had one carry for 11 yards. Nick Brown had two carries for 10 yards.
Evan Little led the team in tackles with seven, while Burchett and Stines each had six.
Upchurch recorded five tackles, and Nick Brown and Cross had three each.
Stines and Little each recorded a sack for the game.
Clinton County will be at home this week as Green County comes to Bulldog Field.
Friday night is homecoming night with festivities to begin in a separate event at 4:30 at the high school.
Clinton County will kick off at 7 p.m. for its final district game of the season. If Clinton County wins Friday night, the Dawgs will get a berth in the playoffs.
