, 84, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at IU Health Ball Hospital. She was born in Albany, Kentucky, to the late Lewis and Relsa (Agee) Sidwell.

Frances was a member of Whittier Lane Baptist Church and also attended Albany Independent Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, John (Sheila) Appleby of Mooreland, James (Samantha) Appleby of Greenfield, Indiana, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie K. Appleby, six brothers, and three sisters.
