Eloise Tallent Smith, 74, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at The Medical Center-Bowling Green.

She was a member of Aaron’s Chapel Separate Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Aaron and Lura Burchett Tallent and the wife of the late Jimmy Edward Smith.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ronda Lee Smith; three brothers, Don, Junior, and Dee Tallent, and two grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Joy Bowlin, and Jenny (Jason) Harlan, all of Albany; three sons Doug (Katrina) Smith, of Albany; Rodney (Rebecca) Smith, of Columbia,, Kentucky and Chris (Penny) Smith, of Edmonton, Kentucky; one sister: Barbara Mee, of Hope, Indiana; two brothers: F.M. Tallent, of Albany and Dale Tallent, of Hope, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Doug Smith and Bro. Rodney Smith officiating.

Burial was in Aaron’s Chapel Cemetery.

Talbott Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky, was in charge of arrangements.
