More drug related arrests reported by law enforcement

Several Clinton County residents were arrested in the past week, by at least three separate local, area and state law enforcement agencies, on drug related charges.

According to booking information at the Clinton County Jail, Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Chris McGuffin arrested Allison Dean, 27, of Albany at The Pines of the Cumberland. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree- Drug Unspecified, possession of drug paraphernia and four counts of wanton endangerment first degree. She was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Chris McGuffin arrested Luther Conner, 19, of Albany, at The Pines of the Cumberland. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree, drug unspecified and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Clinton County Deputy Sheriff McGuffin arrested Ronald Daniels, 36, of Albany, at The Pines of the Cumberland. Daniels was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree- drug unspecified and possession of drug paraphernalia . He was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Kentucky State Police Detective Kenny Brown arrested 38 year old Loressia Poore, of Albany, at the Concord Church. She was charged with trafficking in controlled substance- drug unspecified . She was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Kentucky State Police Detective Kenny Brown arrested 30 year old Michael Burchett, of Albany, at Concord Church. He was charged with trafficking in controlled substance first degree – drug unspecified . He was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

According to a press release from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, after a short vehicle pursuit deputies Derek Dennis and Jerry Meadows arrested two Clinton County residents on drug and other charges.

When the deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on Kentucky Highway 1009, it speeded up and failed to stop.

After a short pursuit, the deputies approached the vehicle when they noticed the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Upon making the arrest a search of the vehicle and of the persons were conducted resulting in a small amount of marijuana, methamphetamine, narcotic pills and drug paraphernalia were found.

Deputies Dennis and Meadows arrested and charged Caitlin P. Hughes, of Albany, Ky., for fleeing or evading Police-2nd degree (motor vehicle), possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and for a traffic violation.

Caitlin Hughes was also arrested on a Cumberland County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to comply with Drug Court on the underlying charge of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine).

Deputy Dennis arrested and charged Christopher G. Hughes, of Albany, Ky., for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (drug unspecified) and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Caitlin Hughes and Christopher Hughes were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
